Mat for SkiErg with floor stand

Post by weintraub » August 26th, 2021, 7:27 pm

I am considering buying a SkiErg with the floor stand. I will put it in a carpeted area. Is the stand large enough to protect the carpet from sweat or should I purchase a mat that extends beyond the front and back and sides of the stand? If so, what size mat should I purchase. Thanks. Steve

I don't need it to cover much more than right below my head. Not a lot of movement really on the skierg so for me it's a pretty small area.

Ditto....floor stand is big enough, just lay a towel down. Headband will also help to stop the worst of it.

As the others have said the floor stand is enough, you may want a towel for the floor stand as the sweat marks it.
