Chest workout
Hi all, I tried a search and didn’t come up with exactly what i needed. Looking for some advice as to what type stroke would be best to incorporate the pecs? I have been trying alternate stroke pulling across the body with each arm..

Machine is not suited for that. Simple pushups are much more effective.Daveschally wrote: ↑February 24th, 2019, 9:12 amHi all, I tried a search and didn’t come up with exactly what i needed. Thanks, and I get that. The workout I get on my new erg is worth every penny for what it does double pulling but I was getting greedy i guess. At 62 I found myself over doing it a bit so anyway I have backed off to 4 days a week 30 min set on 5 at 2:28 500m. Just looking for other uses.

Re: Chest workout
Good to hear, the skierg itself does work the chest a bit. But in general its more usefull to build endurance than to build muscle.Daveschally wrote: ↑February 25th, 2019, 12:13 pmThanks, and I get that. If you do short fast intervals at higher drag you can build strenght/muscle. But!, be carefull don,t injure yourself.
Google "dragfactor" setting 5 alone is only part of the drag.
