Hi!!
At the concept2.com webpage there is a "weight adjustment calculator" that converts the indoor rower time to a sculler-boat time.
http://www.concept2.com/indoor-rowers/t ... calculator
And with a weight of 270lb/123kg the times will be simelar. In another topic at this forum one guy said it was compeared from a 4x sculler boat.
How can this calculator be compeared to SkiErg and real skiing?
First of all.. Skiing times cannot be compeared because there will be different in the friction between the ski and snow (different gliding). Temperature and snowtype are important factors.
But I guess the pace at the monitor is based on some kind of snow and weight. I guess the weight is the same as indoor rowing (270lb/123kg), and maybe more like dry cool snow and not hard/icy snow, because the time is not so very fast.
Does anybody know more about this?
