Stress fracture and rowing

Post by southerngalgonemad » April 12th, 2012, 12:30 pm

I have a stress fracture and was wondering if rowing would be ok to do. Has anyone done that before?

Wonder why you didn't ask the doctor who diagnosed the fracture the same question.

I got a hairline fracture of the arm during a bicycling accident a few years back. The orthopedist told me not to put any pressure on the bone (absolutely no rowing, biking, or heavy lifting) for 6 weeks minimum to give it time to heal.
