Crossfit?

Post by Spaceman Spiff » January 28th, 2007, 2:08 pm

Does anyone here use Crossfit as a part of their training?

www.crossfit.com for those of you who don't know about it.

I'm a Crossfit trainer, so yes. We incorporate the Concept2 heavily into our workout rotation.

I would urge you to try Crossfit and see if you like it. Start slow and light, and focus mainly on technique.

I joined this forum to help improve my rowing, so I'm mainly here to learn. If you have any specific questions about Crossfit, just ask.

several people were into crossfit last year or so, and there were several threads about it. It is possible they are on the archived forum, since the forum was hacked twice last year, and hasn't really come back.

From the crossfit threads and the link to the crossfit forums, I got the idea to make a climbing rope for my kids. My 7yr old climbs like a monkey; I can get up it with a lot of work and wearing gloves. It was not that hard to weave and kind of fun to have hanging in the barn basketball court.

I would like a real chin up bar and gravity boots too, and need to build more of a climbing wall in there as well.
