I feel like I need a full service, valet and maybe even an overhaul......eyes rubbish, ears constant tinitus and losing the left, back iffy....blah blah.....pfff :x

All excuses I know.....plenty in a worse boat than me.
I have constant tinnitus too. Would you believe my sight improved last year and had to have new lenses and have improved again since then. Apparently due to the start of cataracts and the changing shape of the eye lens! I don't need to wear glasses on the erg any more. I do have glaucoma too which doesn't get better
Do you do anything for tinnitus? I'm being told hearing aids can help but I'm reluctant to go down that road.

Hoping my eyes improve too!!! 🤞

Oh no! I have the tinnitus as well… I get no slack from not hearing the wife and she gives no quarter to the idea of hearing loss on higher pitches and the female voice obviously fitting in that category. After 44 yrs I’m pretty sure I’ve heard every… oh well you get the picture.

Sometimes I wonder about getting a Model C so that I can't hear the comments!

We're all doomed, doomed, DOOMED!!!

The wives will never accept a lamed-arse excuse like hearing loss! Maybe something legit, like the start of the nuclear holocaust, but even then, I've got my doubts.

Quick question....does anyone else suffer from headaches post exercise?
I'm suffering quite often with necky tension which leads to headaches. These are often post exercise.Here.I thought it may be hydration but I hit 2.5L today but still have one. I've been to the GP but they were not really pinpointing anything. I thought it may be caffeine related but can't correlate that to today.Looking back I remember getting some post a full on TT but it's now most sessions.
It's not going to stop me erging but is literally a pain in the neck.
After training my neck with kettlebells, my neck ached slightly but slightly! What have I not tried! And I bought a chair and ate all sorts of pills!
My neck hurt so bad! But I started training by walking on my hands while hanging, like a ladder on a horizontal bar, and it helped me! The essence was the clamping of the cervical vertebrae, and after stretching by hanging on hands, these cervical vertebrae relaxed and every 3 days I hang like this and my neck does not hurt from the word at all))

To see visually! I walk for 1-2 minutes alternately on 1-2 hands hanging and my neck relaxes)))

Maybe the position of the tv needs moving if you view it every session with problems?

I visited the optician this weekend and my prescription has changed significantly since getting reading glasses a while back. My long sight is now improving and gone down from +3.75 to +3.00 in my right eye (which is where most headaches end up). So it seems that my eyes and the strain they have been under while wearing incorrect specs is as least a major part of the issue. Will be interesting to see when my new specs are ready.

I will have to retire the many pairs of old specs I used to row in as they can't be used now.

I have also been trying to drink more water to ensure hydration is not an issue....at least 2.25ltr a day. Bit with the bladder of a toddler this leads to many bathroom breaks

Stretching out the neck also helps and will be something I will incorporate daily.

Thanks for all the comments.

No doubt that increased heart rate and blood pressure, often coupled with caffeine, can result in excruciating headaches sometimes during a row and/or shortly after. For me, these are occasional one-time occurrences. I would be worried if this happened frequently.
