Trapezius/Rhomboid stretches

Post by hunisu » April 4th, 2006, 9:36 pm

Other than the standard stretches (pressing arm across chest & sitting and turning your torso — sorry if those aren't great descriptions); does anyone know of others? I've never been able to get a good stretch out of them & I'm finding that I'm in need of a better stretch.

Thanks

All I have is a few yoga poses. If you aren't used to it, try very gently and don't bounce.

Balasana (Child's Pose) which looks a lot like this, but follow the link and the directions.

Arm crossover

Post by LJWagner » May 4th, 2006, 10:41 pm

Try crossing you arms over each other at the elbows, bend them, with hands by your face, then put your palms together. Finally press the hands away from the body and slowly lift your hands and alternate lowering your hands.
Do your warm-ups, and cooldown, its not for you, its for your heart ! Live long, and row forever !
