Barbara,

No worries on the postings - it will all be right at the end of this. I am trying to mix bicycling ever increasing distances (mixed with a few hills - nasty wind, too) and find that I just can't put the same number of meters in on the days that I ride the bike. I can't even add up how many meters to the moon - some fellow corrected me, then I messed it up again! Oh well. Math is not a good subject I guess for me - makes me worry that I'm pretty ok with finance!

Luna-tics,

Swill some rum and get ready to repel Free Spirits. It's hand to hand combat with sabers. Arrrrrggg!

Yowzer, Luna-Tics! Great team effort has moved us back into a tentative 5th position for the challenge ! Way to row strong!

Challenge meters to date = 3,980,838 m for 5th position at time of posting

Total meters on the day = 283,288 m

56 crew!

As we continue to head towards the dark side of the moon
we may feel the influence of the dark side of the boat...this may be a good thing!

Embrace the dark side....and energy usage awareness....row in the dark for internationally recognized Earth Hour....
Saturday, March 29th from 8 to 9 pm!
Cities and citizens of the world are turning off as many lights as they can for one hour. Sydney, AUS did this last year....and that one hour of darkness was the equivalent of taking 48K cars off the road.
