You guys are right on the money! all the teams are getting tired so this is when we can make up spots. Sometimes breaking up your rowing into 2 or three sessions help. 2 or three 15min sessions will get some good meters and everybody can rally for 15 min. This coming weekend will be a good time to rent a movie get some bubble wrap for your but and just row. Keep up the good work.

5000 meters and I'm wiped out! Each time on this machine so far seems to get a bit better with technique and times improving slowly. I want to get those TransforMX bars from Rob and make dirt bike noises while I'm rowing!

You want sport-specific training? Wear your helmet while you row.

Just do what I do and re-watch the Supercross from the Speed channel. You get the noise of the bikes AND get to watch Erin Bates. Talk about distraction!

and boots and chest protector and have your S.O. throw dirt at you while you row. And if your an offroad person, they can beat you with tree branches too.

How about a little something for the road folks? The occasional deer dashing in front of the erg, maybe, or a visit from a State Trooper...

I'm sorry miss, but I clocked you doing 1:50 500M splits in a school zone.

So maybe the best thing to do would be to take care of that right here in Brainerd.

oh yeah, I came here to say I just tried the 500m for the first time.
I think I left a lung in the garage.
