As I'm approaching 10 million meters on my BikeErg, I wonder: any maintenance that might be worth doing?
So far the only 'maintenance' I have done is cleaning the handlebar and other parts following each sweaty session. Despite this lack of attention, the bike still looks great and everything remains working smoothly. My understanding is that the belts are self tensioning, and probably remain OK over a multiple of the mileage that I have clocked. But perhaps opening the BikeErg and cleaning out dust would be a wise thing to do?
Any insights on this?

BikeErg maintenance
I run in the mud, I sweat on the erg, and I happily battle the years...

Re: BikeErg maintenance
I'm at about 25M metres and haven't done anything substantial.
I thought I was getting a bit more belt noise so concept2 suggested I take the bottom plate off (easy, just nine screws) and have a look. I did clean some black buildup on the tensioner pulley and the back of the belt, but nothing including the belts looked at all worn. So I closed it up.
