Concept2, Inc., located in Morrisville, VT is in no way affiliated with the Wattbike product or company. While both the Concept2 Indoor Rower and the Wattbike are fine pieces of equipment that provide a very effective means of exercise with accurate and immediate feedback, the two products and their companies are completely independent from each other and have always been.

Im exactly the opposite.. I use the C2 because it is "good" for me but cannot get away from counting strokes and distance so mentally it is tough,, on the other had I find my TACX interactive trainer totally entertaining and often(almost) forget Im just pedaling in my spare bedroom.Ombrax wrote:I wish C2 all the best with the BikeErg, but have to say that as a cyclist (and owner of LeMond RevMaster stationary bike that gets little use) the main reason I row is that I find that if I'm forced to exercise indoors instead of out, rowing is much preferable to me than the mind-numbing boredom of spinning pedals and going nowhere. After about 10 minutes of riding a bike inside my brain turns to mush. Erging, on the other hand, requires a completely different mental approach, and for whatever reason I find it much more "entertaining" (if I can use such a word for a self-torture device) both mentally and physically.
