Never heard of this issue mentioned in the Facebook group.
I've visited the FB page several times and never see any messages there. Apparently joining the group is required,
but I personally don't like FB and don't use it at all. Why not just post on here, or on Slowtwitch where everyone can participate?

Yes, you need to join the group to read the messages. How else do you expect to see posts? It’s an increasingly active group with far more going on than on here or SlowTwitch.

I do occasionally post on here, have done for years, but Facebook has far larger participation for rowing, skiing, BikeErg etc related things than on here, so you’re missing out by only being on here.

As long as you don't mind handing over your digital life to Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg...

Why hide it then?

There have been millions of threads and posts on Bikeforums.net, but not even one post about Bikeerg.
Slowtwitch has had millions of postings, but only this one thread about Bikeerg.

Where is the group? I can't find on Facebook either. I am having zwift problems and hoping I can get some help there.

Here the link. It’s never been hidden.

Plenty of people create Facebook accounts with very limited personal information just for the purpose of chatting on pages of their interest.

That's what I did. I joined for rowing. I was using my dog's name until I joined a rowing club and people were calling my Owen. I dropped off FB in 2013, but I joined for the rowing groups. Now that I have a SkiErg, I joined that group as well. I'm also part of an IRC as well.
