A CooSpo H808S from AliExpress will be my next one if I need it.

Tempted to buy one even though I don't need it, the LED feature looks good to let you know it has power and is connected, the Garmin ones are a pain you get no warning the battery is toast they just die on you and you are left guessing what the problem could be.

Also looking at the H808S, LED feedback seems handy for quick checks, especially with the PM5 and apps. I've had Garmin straps die without warning too, so I get the frustration. Good tip on AliExpress for replacements.Carl Watts wrote: ↑July 17th, 2024, 12:24 amA CooSpo H808S from AliExpress will be my next one if I need it.

Re: Heart rate monitors
I have Coospo 808S, Garmin Dual, and Polar H9.
I like the Coospo best. It beeps twice when it connects, and once when it disconnects. I seldom notice the light, but I always listen for the beeps.
I've had no end of grief with the H9 strap. Coospo is fine after 1.5 years and a couple of hundred hours.
Unfortunately, the H9 won't fit on the Coospo strap -- the stubs under the Coospo snaps are too fat to fit in the recessed holes in the H9.
But the H9 works on the Dual strap.
The Coospo works on the Dual strap.
The Dual works on the Coospo strap.
So I have three transmitters, and two straps. If I need a new strap I'll buy a generic on Ali Express.
Actually, I also have a drawer full of gymlink straps as well -- several old Polar T31/T34 and a newer Ali Express, which is my daily driver for legacy equipment.
