Re: 13th NE2KC
I don't know if Roy Brook or Mike V. ever fully came back from there respective health issues. Certainly two of the very best when healthy to be sure. I still have a picture in my phone with the two of them at the 2014 weigh-in; had no idea who they were. Classic battle for the 60 LWT hammer in 2014; great race.

Re: 13th NE2KC
True. Mike was still too damaged to come down to the NE2KC this year, and Roy doesn't seem to be up to par yet either.Edward4492 wrote:I don't know if Roy Brook or Mike V. ever fully came back from there respective health issues. On the other hand, the two-time defending champion of the 65-69 lwt division, Alain Mangin of France, looks to be in top form with at least a 3:23 1K in the rankings already. So far he looks like the man to beat again.

I noticed. Will he make weight? If he starts, will he finish? If he finishes, will he row 6:16? The mind boggles.

Re: 13th NE2KC
Is the special one going to handle down and walk away? He did that at the British, Niall Williams got a YouTube video of his failure.
Best of luck to all the NE2K'ers who make it to Boston.

Re: 13th NE2KC
Thanks Dougie. It would be nice to see you back here one day too. Maybe in the warmer weather if not for NE2KC or WIRC. You could try Pow Wow Hill on a bike or pushing a wheelbarrow.Citroen wrote:
