Yes Henry I was thinking later - that is at least a 1:11.5 in the gym I reckon
Did a 500 race last winter, was at 1.23/24 av at the 100m, took pulling 1.18/19 upto 400 to get below 1.21, from there I died :wink:

Same here with my 500m at BIRC last year. Got a 4:30/500m first initial average which meant pulling all 1:19/20s for the first 100m just to get it to 1:26.0.

I'd be curious to see the screen shot of the 1:12.1 to see what the first 100m is done at. In the video of the screen on Instagram he gets to 1:05/06 reasonably quickly.
