Got in the second potential WR today. It was a 30' piece that netted 6301m ( 2:22.8 ). My original goal was to do 5k at a 2:24.0 pace, but I sort of got led astray. I managed to get started a little earlier than I had hoped and, after a 10' warm up, figured that I had enough time to slip in a 30' piece instead, with a goal of beating my earlier distance on my dynamic, 6156m. In the middle of the piece, I was hovering around 6200 and felt that I would be able to hang onto that. The I got sort of zoned out for a while and suddenly realized that I was up in the high 6200s. So I decided, what the hell, I may as well go for broke and went into a sprint. I didn't notice my stroke rate, but the log card will at least give me an average for the last minute. The sprint was started with around 40" to go. But I did see a couple of pace readings under 2:00. Very uncommon for me nowadays.
2 LWTs done, with 8 left to go. Then I can forget about being careful with my weight and go for the HWTs.
