Looking for training partners

Post by Siege753 » May 28th, 2013, 11:54 am

Hey all, this is my first post since getting my concept2 last week. So far ive logged 6000m and am new to rowing. I'd like to find some training partners to stay motivated. I'm 6'2" 275lbs. And looking to row to drop 50 lbs and just increase overall fitness. I'm in California PST. I've been doing the short workout of the days.

Looking forward to getting connected!

Hi,

You might try joining a virtual rowing team. There are whole bunch of them, some of th ebigger ones are:

Free Spirits
Age Without Limits
Lunatics

These teams usually have forums for training and weight loss and lots of supportive members. As you continue training, they also participate in concept2 team challenges and other activities that keep you interested in sitting on the machine and grinding out the meters. You can look for a list of teams on the concept2 website.

If you really want to get "Connected" and be able to row with others live online then take a look at RowPro
