Zero days counted in average in LogBook

Post by Gaffer » May 20th, 2020, 1:18 pm

Sorry to bother anyone, but was wondering if there is a fix or adjustment for the start date of the yearly totals.
I'm not trying to be uber competitive, well, maybe a little, but i received my C2 Model D on the 7th of May and have been rowing for an hour every day since the next day, May 8. I always complete at least 10k but recently have been doing more. it does keep me from going social distance crazy!
The software on the PM5 records the year starting on May 1, ok close but not accurate. My daily average is climbing significantly every day but i am dealing with 7 days of zeros. I repeat, I am only mildly competitive, but it seems like I should be counted as starting on May 8, not May 1.
Is there an adjustment i am missing in the LogBook software or do i have to eat those (not very competitive zeros)?

All in all, I love this piece of equipment, we have bonded.

Write an email to rowing@concept2.com with details of your logbook ID and why you think it's wrong.

You have to eat them, unfortunately.
The rowing season is from 01-May to 30-April, and the logbook shows the mean number of meters you have done per day of the rowing season, not the mean number of meters per row that you have done, or per day that you have actually rowed.
By the end of rowing season those seven zeros won't be such a big deal. :?

If you want to see your average on active days for the season, you can go to https://log.concept2.com/season/2021 and it is listed there, along with total average including rest days, and total time on the erg.
