Rower AND Exercise Bike

Post by marvy1 » October 17th, 2020, 11:00 am

Hello - I have the Concept 2 model D and an exercise bike. I started out doing a few minutes on the bike and then went on the rower. My question is:
The rower exercises the legs so can I skip the bike and just row? I understand the rower works the whole body so I'm good with that.
Thanks. MarvinH

I guess you could just use the rower, but it's more about what you want to get out of it. Do you want to just use the rower, and are you just rowing for fitness?

Hi Dangercourse. Yes, I am using the rower for fitness and cardio. Thanks for your reply. MarvinH

Certainly the erg will work more of the body than the bike. Add some bodyweight exercises for the pecs, triceps & shoulders and you should have the complete package.
