I won't name names, in case the people are indeed real. Dangerscouse is correct, I don't mean to sound critical, and don't want to risk causing offence.
TBH I thought you were trolling with the thread, but it was so good I had to bump it.

If you want you can send Citroen a PM with the names. He'll handle with discretion, unfortunately, so the potential bot candidates won't get the fun of finding out.
Will I. If it's a bot it will be named so that everyone knows to avoid it and not correspond with it.

Yes that's exactly the vibe that I mean!
I'm pretty sure that what you're noticing in those posts that first caught your eye is folks writing in what to them is a foreign language, so they aren't quite as informal and relaxed as native speakers / writers. (or maybe a real human using a web translator tool because their written English isn't that great)

But these days you never know...

I've never seen the films, but I'm curious about them now; even without knowing the full context, that's quite a moving scene.....

Well, 2001: A Space Odyssey (HAL 9000), and The Matrix series (Neo, et al), are decades apart. But I'll admit that I finally watched most of the The Matrix movies last year - 25 years after they were released! I'm obviously not a real movie buff.
