ROWING SHELL TRAILER
I would like to know more about what to look for in a trailer for my two single shells. I am interested to knowing where to purchase one. If anyone has perhaps fabricated a trailer. I have the skills, not sure about the design aspect. Also what type of vehicle you use to transport your shells.
Sincerely,

Howdy!
For 1x's, most people car-top their shells. There are a number of folks who make good car racks for boats that attach to Thule or Yakima racks. Among them are Vespoli, Hudson, and Burnham Boat Slings. More info should be available on their websites.
Shell trailers are usually designed for larger shells (4's and 8's), although I've seen some clubs use canoe/kayak trailers for transporting large numbers of 1x's and 2x's.
