How-to delete log entry from one logbook (duplicate)

Post by Fl_Rower » October 4th, 2020, 8:26 pm

[EDIT]
OK My assumption was that the workout was logged only to my logbook, but it is actually logged to both my wife and my logbook.
So the new question is: Can I delete it from my logbook without it impacting her entry?

[Original Question[
Somehow my wife's workout was recorded to my logbook (probably with ErgData)
How do I move it from my logbook to hers without losing it?
Do I delete it from mine and then use C2 Utility connected to PM5 to upload to hers?
Can you list the steps in order?

Thanks!

Send an email to rowing@concept2.com and they'll fix it.

You can delete entries. Go to the logbook, find the entry you want under "Latest Workouts", click on the tiny magnifying glass icon under "Action" to view the workout. Near the bottom of that screen there is a red button to delete the entry.

One simple way to move an entry from one logbook to another is the manual method using paper and pencil to record the data in one logbook, then go to the other logbook and copy it into a new workout entry. You won't get all the detailed info that ErgData gives you, but IMHO that level of detail doesn't enhance your knowledge or performance. After all these years, I pretty well know all that and just use the basic info to gauge my progress (or lack thereof). Manual entry has never failed me :D

But Concept2 need to be informed as it's possibly a bug in their logbook code that's created it.

yes I agree it seems a bit unique with the duplication part. I did email support - it is a 1 (business) day wait according to the auto-reply.. which I figured it would be hence why I posted it here in case others had already seen it.
I will update when I hear from them.
