Is it possible to run any of the rowing software on my macbook air remotely from my desktop PC running windows 7?

The desktop PC needs to be within 15ft of the rower. That's the max length of a USB cable (without using a powered cable extender).
You could then run a TightVNC server on Windows and a TightVNC client on your Mac. But it seems like something very cumbersome.

I believe I can set up my mac to run discs playing on my PC, as both devices are on my home network and can be set-up for sharing in this way. I wasn't suggesting using a cable from my desktop to my rower.

RowPro runs on Windows ONLY. The Windows machine has to be directly connected to your rowing machine monitor with the 15ft USB-A to USB-B (printer) cable.

But I'm guessing you mean running rowpro over remote desktop? It depends on 3d graphics so I think it won't work, but not sure
