I hadn't used RP for several months, but got started again early this month to take advantage of using previous rows for pacing and also because it charts the pace and HR - although I am not happy with the log scale time axis.
In general I have found that Parallels/WindowsXP was doing an adequate job. But every so often the damn system throws me a nasty curve. Yesterday, about 25' into a carefully controlled 30' UT1 piece, I got a blasted popup ad from Parallels to upgrade to a new version that wouldn't even be compatible with my system. It was bad enough that it concealed part of the scene that I wanted to see for controlling my pace, but I felt that the ad itself was downright insulting:
It was easy enough to remove it after the piece was done, so that I could get the full data, like the complete pace and HR graphs, but there was no way to get rid of it during the piece without taking a brief break. I had to try to see my poorly lit monitor to check on the time remaining.

Get a Windows laptop. Or get something to block all ads/pop-ups on parallels.
