+1 on the Burpee Excel template. The pie chart of % time in training zone opened my eyes to a training blunder that I didn't fully understand previously. I like having the "details" graphs in RP also. I have never rowed online. Jack

It works only on excel for Windows. It does not work on the Mac.
In you personal settings make sure you have selected to "save strokes".
You export your workout from row pro as a .csv file by right clicking on the workout in the rowing log.
Then you open the template, fill in your heart rate data, and import the csv file by clicking a button on either the time or distance tab depending on what format you used for your workout.
It's a brilliant bit of excel work.

Thanks Greg.
I can open this file using my MAC on mac version of excel. Is this still OK and will I lose any functionality in this file using the mac over the W8PC?
Not sure I understand where to 'save strokes' in personal settings - is this on my PM5 or other?
After the csv file is imported, and view the new file, what and how do i interpret the data for continuous improvement of stroke/form, etc?

Re: Rowpro for Mac
OK - I have tried to do all this. Still not clear on it still..
I have the exported the row log file (with saved strokes). But, what do i do with this file?
Do i import into the RP_Split-Template.xls file? f so, which worksheet do i import it and which cell do i import it from?
Do I import the row CSV file as a delimited or fixed width?
The instructions are not clear on this
Thoughts??

Re: Rowpro for Mac
I'm using RowPro for Mac. It is called RowPro 5 for the Mac and it is working well on a Mac Mini running OS X 10.11 El Capitan. The only thing that is not working is the two time RowPro makes a sound at the start of an online race when a voice speaks "Prepare to start!" and then says "Row!" when it is time to start. But the reason the sound doesn't work is because I'm using a 2012 Mac whose hardware is known for having some sound issues. The sound should work okay on a 2013 or newer Mac and when I have a chance I will test it for sound on a newer Mac.
But in the meantime, I just look at the screen, which is always a good idea
and begin when I see the PM display the word ROW.
I like RowPro 5 for the Mac and am glad to be free of needing to deal with Microsoft Windows. I have Parallels and a Windows 7 virtual machine on that same Mac, but haven't needed to resort to it since trying RowPro 5 for the Mac.
