trying to set a goal distance and have multiple ergs chipping away at it!

Hi
I am trying to set a large distance goal, (8200,000m length of Mexico)
and have 12 ergs chip away at this distance over 24 hours.
All machines are running PM5s
Race venue software allows me to race individually over the distance but this is going to be a community effort and I would like the screen to show this
Running windows 7, with cat5e cables
Its for a charity fund raiser.
Not sure if such software already exists, Not really keen on wireless options as no doubt it will sit down 22 hours in!!!
Any advise or guidance on this would be great.

I'm no expert here for sure. I would try to contact the Concept2 folks, they built the race venue program, they might have suggestions on how to go about accumulating the meters together in real time. Sounds like a cool idea.

You may be able to set VRA to run as a relay race. That's been used at BIRC (when it was at the NIA) to get four ergos rowing a combined distance (got a medal for that).
