Unable to update BikeErg through ErgData

Haven't been able to update my bike using ErgData for a while now. I was able to do a few updates successfully before, but now I am stuck at version 559.0 and can't apply update 559.009 which looks to be the latest. I have updated ErgData from the app store to make sure I'm not missing anything there, and my bike hardware is version 131. I go to apply the update and it fails in the step where it says it is transferring firmware files from my device to the PM. No detailed error message, just "The Firmware Update process Failed". Retrying will similarly fail. Not sure what my next steps should be as this is the first c2 machine I've owned. Thanks for any and all help
