ErgData and Re-Row

Post by QFieldBoden » July 11th, 2025, 7:23 am

Hi

New here and don't (yet) own a C2 Row Erg but will do shortly, have been using a couple of machines during some recent house sitting and have learned a lot.

The Model D I'm presently using had outdated firmware on the PM5 and I have corrected that so it's now up to date and I'm using the latest version of ErgData and the whole thing is working very nicely, uploading to an online account etc.

My question concerns re-rowing a previous preformance via the EregData app interface, can someone give me step-by-step instructions on how to do this please as I can't see a "re-row" button or anything else and at the moment I only seem to be able to do this using the PM5 controls.

This may not sound a big issue, and indeed it is not, but if I can do everything via the app then I'd like to. BTW, I love the way you can bring an iPhone up to the PM5 screen and it wakes up and is ready to go, very neat :)

Many thanks, Q

You can store any workout you program as a favorite and select it from there everytime you want.

The re-row of which I'm aware is accessed by the PM5 interface. But that might not be much use to you on a shared machine.

My knowledge is a little sketch on how to program a workout, and then save it without actually doing the workout. I try to do this once a month for the CTC, and more often than not I end up entering it more than once.

There's a list of recent workouts done on the ergdata app - but it doesn't store everything so only about the last 8 or so. Otherwise there's favourites.

but you literally go to the recent/favourits tab, and select it - adjust any parameters as if it was "new" if you wish and send it to the pm5. - off you go.

Ergzone (another app) lists your past workouts on there if you save them, and then going back you can re-row it, and it shows you how you did on the previous times you did it. (can be useful for TT distances)

Very simple.

With ErgData on the “Workout Tab” go to “Recent” at the top. You will see your most recent workouts. Select the one you would like to ReRow. Tap Ready. Also you can choose Logbook at the bottom. Choose the workout you would like to ReRow. Now tap the middle circle, at the top. The 3/4 arrow. It will load for you. Enjoy!
