It would need to be a small monitor as they still weigh a bit to try and swing off the monitor arm.

Its better to mount an LCD TV to the wall in front of the rower and use that if possible. Using a Sony LCD TV here and it makes a great monitor. A HDMI video card in the PC makes connection to it easy and most laptops these days have HDMI as well. The bigger the TV the better it looks and prices continue to fall.

Thanks a lot guys. I saw one post in here showing a rower that had some grip mounted that could carry a big screen. It was a flex arm attached to the left side of the wheel. But the post is old and got no reply on answering.

HI Carl.

Are you only viewing RowPro on your Sony LCD TV screen during your row sessions?

If not, what else are you viewing during your sessions?

The small form factor PC sits in one of those old CRT TV cabinets that everyone throws out these days with the keyboard and mouse on top. This is all below the 43" Sony TV mounted on the wall between both rowers.

Ultimately the PC would go because the smart TV can run a RowPro App for Android and the wires could go if the PM5 can communicate to the TV via Bluetooth. This would be the perfect set-up but I don't see it happening for years and by the time it comes out my version of Android will probably be too old to run the App. A modern laptop is now probably a good way to go as you need a keyboard anyway and you can get the picture on both the laptop and the TV on the wall at the same time. Overall I would have to add you cannot beat a cable. Wireless is great but its simply not as reliable and its hard enough just trying to keep a Wi-Fi link for most people. The more wireless links you get in the chain, the more problems your going to have and Bluetooth is a bit of a dog at the best of times.

Yes unless you want to join the "Chat" then you only need a mouse, so with a wireless one you can sit on the rower and start, although I just have a fixed 30 second delay which gives you plenty of time to strap in after hitting the start.

Still looking at RowPro V5 and will not move until May 1st as I don't want any issues and V4.3 is solid. The other problem I just discovered is that V5 now requires a 64 Bit OS and all my PC's are currently 32 Bit.

Thanks Carl.

If RowPro 5 requires 64bit OS, does this mean you can't directly stream to a Smart TV without needing a computer in between?

Also, how big is too big a screen for RowPro?

Thanks for all your answers - I found this practical attachement at RowPros site :). Fits PCs. https://www.facebook.com/rowfree/photos ... =3&theater. This company sells special made attachments for pcs and other devices that can be mounted directly to the Concept2 :)
