Not saving Interval workouts
Single distance saves just fine, but my last 3 interval workouts have not. App and PM5 are up to date. Anyone else had this?
Re: Not saving Interval workouts
I’ve only had one interval workout so far and it didn’t log. Maybe the same bug.
Re: Not saving Interval workouts
Nope - did 7 intervals tonight, 2 last night, all recording fine. How did you programme them? In the app or the PM? I always programme in Ergdata.

Re: Not saving Interval workouts
Mine was programmed in the ErgData. I have wondered if it was "stuck". I might do a throwaway 2 pull row, finish it and see if the data syncs.
Re: Not saving Interval workouts
Hmm yes - looks like specific to your config - not loads of contributions here with similar issues. Certainly for me another 5 intervals tonight without issue. I don't think backing out of a session is a particularly fair test for the fault you have, but minimum constant intervals eg 100m 20s rest and do 2 of them shouldn't waste too much time/energy just to see. When finished, I hit the menu key on the pm5 and everything saves - give it time. Then going on to the log tab on ergdata, it does take a few seconds to refresh with the latest session so be patient...

Re: Not saving Interval workouts
What process do you follow to end your row?
sometimes mine has been glitchy if I don't cleanly end the session on ergdata first - not with intervals as I've never plugged them in, but fixed time/distance.
I always hit the middle option - save and show logbook on the app, I think it is, before disconnecting BT etc.

Re: Not saving Interval workouts
In the end the missing Interval session seems lost forever. (Not hugely important).
I did 5km session last night and that synced with the LogBook no problem. However the interval session that is clearly on the PM5 didn't sync. I ended the 5km session because I finished it.
The interval session was supposed to be 6x500m + 2 minutes. I ran out of gas at 4. (Hey I'm new to this game). I ended the session by hitting the menu button on my PM5. Was there a better way to end it?

Re: Not saving Interval workouts
You can end any workout by pressing the [MENU] button. That should trigger Ergdata if the PM5 and phone are still connected.
Re: Not saving Interval workouts
…and tonight this was the very scenario that failed. I was doing a 6km single distance, I was already super tired. (4hrs of driving to help a child with a cracked MacBookAir screen). At the 4K mark, I was finished. I hit menu and I waited and waited. The PM5 and the ErgData app both did their spinning thing. I waited for both to be done. Then I checked the logbook in the ErgData app. The data isn’t logged in my logbook. Yet it is logged to the PM5. Also the data isn’t in Apple Health.
I guess I’m one step closer to a bug report.
Re: Not saving Interval workouts
Interesting scenario. I've never not finished a programme I've set up ... and I've never had that issue. Did you wait for the meters to stop incrementing or did you just hit MENU when going forward for the next stroke? Not saying it wouldn't have happened anyway, just less surprised as it wasn't a typical failed to log at the end of a session issue.
