Quick RowPro Question

Post by Rory » June 14th, 2014, 7:45 pm

Hey,

New to the board, relatively new to rowing, new to rowpro. I did alot of searching but couldn't find an answer to my question which is:

How well does row pro work when NOT connect to your C2? I understand that it works best when connected to the computer directly but under certain circumstances I will need to do workouts (maybe 30% of the time even!) NOT connected to the computer. When I reconnect sometime after these workouts will all the data be uploaded into rowpro? Does it work ok like this? Is there anywhere I get read a bit more about this?

Thanks.

RowPro ONLY works when your laptop is connected to your PM3. Not having it connected to the PM3 (PM2+ or PM4) would be 100% pointless.

RowPro works best when that laptop is ALSO connected to the public internet and you're signed in to DigitalRowing's server.

Rowpro does have the ability to manually import your logcard data into RowPro so that you can keep track of your sessions all in the RowPro interface. I've used this in cases where my computer crashes but I keep rowing until my session is finished, or when I bring my logcard with me and row on machines at hotel gyms, etc...

Why would the OP pay $99 for that when the C2 Utility can do the same stuff for free?
