Gaining weight but feeling dizzy while training
I am a D1 rower and this is my daily schedule- 2x30’ on the bike erg in the morning, then in the afternoon the workouts vary between things like 4x15’ steady, 2x5k @5k+2, and other AT and steady state workouts. However I’ve been noticing two things- 1. I’ve been somewhat gaining weight. More specifically, I simply look “puffier” and less cut. 2. I’ve been feeling very dizzy during a lot of my workouts and it affects my everyday life. My teammates have said this is because I don’t eat or drink enough, which seems to contradict the weight gain. What could the problem be?

Without a doubt you need to get proper medical advice but I wonder if the dizziness is something to do with low blood pressure.

I'm told no news is good news, so perhaps we're close.

I was decidely overtraining with low blood pressure. Stop making unfounded assumptions.
