I'm trying to manage 50 minutes a day, 6 days a week, to achieve some modest weight loss, but I'm finding it hard to set aside the time. I am however managing to fit in two 25 minute sessions a day more easily, and I'm wondering if this is equivalent to one, longer session. I'm tracking calories burnt, and I manage over 500 in total a day by either method, and I maintain the same heart rate for both about 120-130, which for my stats gives a good fat burn ratio. The only downside I can see is that it takes a little while to reach the desired heart rate each time, so this means there are a few extra minutes of suboptimal performance during the second 25 session that doesn't happen for the 50 (which can be easily compensated for by getting better at warming up!).
Am I missing anything here, or is 25/25 just as good as 50?
Is 2 x 25 mins a day = 1 x 50 mins a day?

Proberly better even, you now give your metabolism 2x a boost instead of once. In the bigger picture it does not matter much, nmr 1 is dieet. Counting cal. is not very usefull. A calorie is not a calorie.
Low carb is the way to go. Get your insuline production down, thats the key.

if you could do some HIIT sessions along the week, then 25 minutes for a HIIT session is awesome.
something like rowing for a few minutes at a moderate pace and sprint full on for 60 seconds and so on..
