PM3 - 4? Waar kopen?

Het ziet er hier niet erg actief uit, maar ik zal het toch even proberen.

Ik wil een Concept 2 kopen en waarschijnlijk met een PM3. Het is ook mogelijk een PM4 te kopen, heeft deze grote voordelen? Batterij laadt automatisch op dat lijkt me wel een flink voordeel en er zit een hartslagmeter bij.
Nu wil ik ook met een hartslagmeter trainen, maar ik heb ook al een polar hartslagmeter. Accepteert de Concept 2 deze band ook?

Als iemand nog een tip heeft waar ik deze spullen het best kan kopen hoor ik het ook graag. In de buurt van A'dam kan ik komen halen.

Het prijsverschil tussen NL en US is erg groot, het lijkt erop dat alle aanbieders hier 1199 vragen en er in de US meer concurentie is.

Anyway, ik wil er eentje hebben. Ik wacht nog op bovenstaande info en de perfecte aanbieding. Als ze overal hetzelfde kosten kies ik het bedrijf die het dichtst in de buurt zit en betrouwbaar is/lijkt.

To get a signal from a Polar HRM you need a Concept2 HRI, that's a small radio receiver that plugs into a socket on a PM2/PM2+/PM3 and PM4.

The PM4 will pick up HR from a Suunto or Garmin ANT HR belt with nothing extra needed.

As a European you have no choice about buying from Concept2 USA. They won't ship to Europe. http://concept2.nl/ is the Benelux site for Concept2. We suffer with the same price difference between C2 USA and C2 UK.

If I were buying a new rower I'd go for a model D with a PM4. The PM3 isn't being enhanced. C2 have stated that there'll be no new features on a PM3. I dislike the model E because of the fixed monitor arm.

At the current euro to pound exchange rate, €1199 is less than the £1025 we have to pay for a model D with PM4.

I probably will buy a C2 incl. PM4. It is €150 more expensive but I think it is worth it. I will not need my polar belt then as the PM4 includes the Suunto.
The price with a PM4 is € 1.349 so I guess in Britain it is cheaper too.
I've had some thoughts about model E as well, but I don't think the extra € 500 is worth it.
BTW.. According to www.concept2.nl the monitor arm on model E is not fixed.

I agree that extra €150 will be worth it. The price for a model D with PM4 is GBP£1025.

The monitor arm on a model E can't move up or down. The Concept2.NL website is wrong. I spent two weeks in February rowing on a model E in San Jose. I agree that for home use the model E isn't worth the extra - you'll be better off spending USD$99 on a copy of RowPro.

For public gym use the model E will have a longer life, need less maintenance and has the extra 15cm of height, but you don't need those features at home unless you can't bend down low enough to get on a model C/D easily.
