Great work, Jim!!

However, you get listed first in the meters report... B)

No, I didn't fall off the face of the earth! Last Thursday eve, we went on vacation, and have just been offline since. I'm going back to check now what Lisa did or didn't post, I may still need to post last Tuesday's & Wednesday's numbers... Sorry, it was an incredible rush to get my work out, then get home in time to begin a long drive to the East Coast!

Just oil the chain, clean the flywheel & flywheel cover & it should be good as new! (Yes, putting the flywheel back together is more painstaking than pulling it apart, but c'est la vie...) These C2's last forever!

2 steps forward, 1 step back. I am being much more cautious than I'd been in the past so my total numbers are much lower (and slower) than they used to be. Still, low total meters is better than no total meters.

I'm gearing up slowly for the Fall Team Challenge.

Hi team, Just got back from a vacation in Ireland. It is a wonderful place to visit, I even got in a couple short rows. Seemed like every nice hotel had a C2 rower, I just couldn't let myself spend much time in a gym when I could be out traipsing around the beautiful Irish countryside. Now my attitude is jet lag be damned, I'm doing the dog days of summer challenge!

Welcome back, John! I don't think I've ever seen a rower in a U.S. hotel fitness center. I don't think I would have been able to resist its seductive siren call.

Today is the day I will hit 1MM this season. On track to make my 3MM goal for the rowing year.

That's awesome Bobby! I will likely break 2mm lifetime this month and I'll be lucky to get to 1.8-2.0mm this season if I push hard the rest of the year. I wish I had the space at home for a C2. My other new goal for the year is to get involved in some on the water rowing. I watched two 4 person team's with a coxswain rowing in the bay of Dublin, that coupled together with reading 'The Boys in the Boat', and I am completely hooked!
