Anybody have one cord tighter than the other?

Post by Asg84 » May 31st, 2015, 3:23 pm

Just received a new skierg 2 model, and the right cord is tighter than the left, making for a slightly harder pull than feeling even on both sides. Anyone else have this problem?

I got my SkiErg (same model) a couple of weeks ago and it seems very balanced. Occasionally I pull one arm down a bit before the other but I'm still working on my technique which is probably more to do with it.

Mine is the more recent model & it seems to have the same tension on both sides. C2 should be able to problem-solve this.

As I got my SkiErg after 3rd session I had this impression too, but then figured out that I was pulling asymmetrically.

I've got the new model and I dont know if it's in my head since reading this thread, or I've got a muscular imbalance but I can definitely tell a difference between the 2 chords. It's probably just in my head :?:
If rowing was easy, it would be called "spin class"

What does make you think, that you have one tighter cord? How do you measure/compare it (to be sure that one cord is really tighter)?
