Everyone give yourselves a big pat on the back.

We are now passing down Lake Louise, these dudes in the canoe on Lake Louise cannot believe our speed.

Still a long way to go, but we can do it.

Jim

71K Mark, was that so you could get across the border and sample an Albertan beer? Impressive I put in 10K this morning, possibly more later. John.

Actually, Zeb (MikefromCanmore) is a bit too young for the beer thing. So I guess that means that I'll have to pick up the slack for him . My brother and sister in law live in Canmore. Grant is a great mountain climbing guide. He took me up that climb that is pictured here. I used to do a lot of climbing when I was in my 20s, but the mountains seemed to have it in for me. This sport is a bit safer, you can't fall too far off of the erg .

Apologies for my absence (not that it held progress up at all).

Work and the enticing Albertan sunshine last week kept me off the C2.

A shame really as I've missed quite a lot of scenery, especially Yoho and Lake O'Hara.

Anyway it appears we're taking Hwy 1 from Lake Louise to Banff, I prefer the 1A if I'm on my bike, but the 1 is quicker.

If we stay on Hwy 1 through Calgary we'll row past the top of my street, I'll have to try and row those Km's.

Anyway, great progress and I rowed 11 Km today (Oct 18th)

Sorry Jim. We've had a busy site today and I should have marked on my last post that I also rowed 8 k this morning for a total of 18k.

Well we have made it to Canmore and the three sisters!

Just over 100 k to Calgary and then on to our longest major section across the prairies.

Keep on rowing!

Jim
