Not touched it myself, but see others mostly a good bit below 2k pace. But for that you need to know your current 2k
Could be henry but there are no entries sub 1:30 yet even from the guys at the top who are likely around 6:00 or under for their 2ks?
I thought that 8x 500m/1:30R would be around or maybe a little faster than 2k and my recent 6:59 TT isn't too far from the mark for me - thus the CTC @1:43.5 was close to max as well. But we will all be different of course.

Martin I am pretty sure you are faster than me on this (and mostly everything!). That 1k to me means that you are close to 6:50 even without the fitness yet so wouldn't be surprised if you nail a fast one - do a good one that you can finish and then have another go.
The big dogs have not entered results. I see a few guys close to 1.30 who can,t pull that over 2k. You also never now how hard someone tried, can imagion the really fast guys seldom pull a super serious c2ctc, they have bigger otw goals to work for.
Ollie Zeidler doing the ctc is already a small mirakel, Elena Buryak often enters a sub max effort.

And yes, we all differ. Certainly no 1:1 direct translations to other distances.

I've just signed up. Have had some quiet weeks recently thanks to work, but looking to ramp some volume up again now that work times are returning to normal.

Yeah, your advises are always very helpful, thanks!
I'm working on my aerobic fitness, small but steady gains, still a lot of work to do, but very motivated :-)

Motivation and being fit/injury free is very important, you are nicely improving, so keep doing what you do.

Thanks Henry, this forum helped me a lot to find out what training plan works best. Evens with 2 decades of weight training experience I had to start at zero and did the typical beginners mistakes :-) Thanks once more :D

Had an attempt at this today (sorry to the team, didn't get round to last month's)

Didn't go as planned. Probably wasn't in best shape having run 15km yesterday, but tried anyway. These are the final 7 intervals, first was 1:44.9.

Will try again later in the month when I'm more well-rested, but don't think I'll make it into boat II even then

I did a 10000m yesterday to log an entry for the Indoor Rowers League. We only need 2 more entries there.

My time (43:49.2) was nowhere near what the others have done, but better than an empty seat! It's a 1.2% improvement on my 40+ PB watts from last year June, but I still need to find 17% more watts to hit my 2008 PB.

The pace is faster than my current 6000m 40+ PB, so going to have a go at that on Sunday.

Dave
