I’m looking forward to starting a new year of rowing. After being unable to row for the last few years it’s a challenge to get back into it, but I know that it will come back with time. The trick is finding the time in between watching our two year old grandson during the day and dropping off/picking up the other two from school among other things (Who said retirement is full of lazy, relaxing days? I’m busier than ever!)
Having the rowing machine in our small (basement) apartment of the home that we share with our son and his family in NY, rather than out in my workshop/gym in GA has made for an interesting dynamic. I can’t seem to keep my grandchildren off of it! Even the two year old wants to row (while I hold him on my lap and he holds the handles).
Here’s to a great ERGing year fellow Luna-Tics! I’m proud to be a part of such a great team!
