Rowpro workout questions
Hi,
recently decided to pay for rowpro to engage in the online training programmes.
I fancied some brainless rowing by numbers.
Just wondering, i have the plan set up in the row.
However, am i right in thinking you actually have to remember what you're supposed to be doing, and when in your workout, or does the display guide you?
Perhaps im doing something wrong, but it seems in the display underneath the animation of the rower i just have all HR, Stroke rate etc.... but no actual guide of what i should i shouldnt be doing, if you know what i mean?
Any help would be great.

RP has counters, timers, and an animated graphic of a riverbank and single scull that gets stroked more or less to match your rate or cadence. RP has virtual group rowing online AND/OR flat earth, olde school training plans onscreen. RP does not have a video simulacrum of Steroid Steve or Anabolic Annie to whip you crosseyed in a virtual spin class.

i understand that, but perhaps im just missing something simple.jackarabit wrote: ↑April 28th, 2019, 5:45 pmRP has counters, timers, and a graphic of a riverbank and single scull that gets stroked more or less to match your rate or cadence. Say my programme has me doing 10 mins at a stroke rate of 22. then 2 mins rest, then 10 mins at a stroke rate of 24.
In the online graphics, is my " personal guidelines" there to show me what im supposed to be doing or do i have to remember it myself?

Sorry. I misinterpreted your question as asking whether RP has “online” coaching and, if so, how to access or enable. Afraid I’m no help!

Just join some of the online rows and row with others.
Thrashing away in your basement by yourself is for masochists.
You will end up being brain dead from just looking at numbers.

Re: Rowpro workout questions
I haven't used those plans for a long time, but I seem to remember that if a piece had a target range for pace, then the pace graph would have a shaded band representing that. On stroke rate targets there was an indicator on the top of the RowPro PM that showed that. Any interval sessions would be automatically set up on the Concept2 PM, so you don't need to remember too much about the session you're doing before going in.

Thanks Dave, I'll set up a simple interval session to see what happens.Slothful1 wrote: ↑April 29th, 2019, 12:50 amI haven't used those plans for a long time, but I seem to remember that if a piece had a target range for pace, then the pace graph would have a shaded band representing that.
