Absolutely amazing! Reaching 9k would be a massive milestone for most good ergers, nevertheless going almost 600 meters more

Who do you see challenging him at this? Simon van Dorp? Conlin Mccabe? Hamish Bond? I guess Eric Murray in his 10k WR form would have been close.

Will also be very interesting to see the development of Isaiah Harrison in the years to come, 9113 at age 16 is promising good!

9577m is just ridiculous... to put it into perspective... that's a 1:33.9.... for HALF AN HOUR... At 46, I can manage that for only 600m give or take

but If I had to bet on it... I'd pick Isaiah Harrison to top this... his numbers are other-worldly and he has nowhere to go but up, if can avoid injury and the usually social traps that can destroy a young man's ambition...

There are actually a few guys who can top this already, but those really go for otw rowing. Thinking of the sincovics brothers. With a sub 1.30 6k pb.
Also vanDorp could top this, but the Dutch are sponsored by Rowperfect, so don,t use concept2 anymore.

Hamish Bond has taken rowing again more serious lately.
9449m as 34-years of age. I believe besides professional cycling he wants to compete in next Olympics in men’s-8.
On the 4e of may he did a 2k at 5:43.9.

Hamish Bond is seriously impressive. I think he set the 4000m individual pursuit national record but then got overlooked for the World Champs as that event is not an Olympic event any more. Now rowing again he looks stronger than ever. That 2k was super fast as well as the 30m being an age group WR.

However if you look at the 10k WR which is held by his former partner Eric Murray at 31:05.2, he would have gone through 9650m at 30 mins :o i.e. 74m more than Mr. Zeidler managed!

A long way away from any of these PBs now!!
