Seeking Aussie Team :)

Post by Skipjack » September 11th, 2020, 9:02 pm

Hi. just wondering if there are any Aussie teams looking for new members. Just moved back to Perth and looking to get back on to the erg and thought the upcoming online challenge kicking off in a few days would be some good motivation. I am past 50 and not that impressive but I still enjoy it!! Cheers, Rod

Hi Rod,
50plus is a new team and I think that our team captain, Warnie, would welcome you to our growing international membership and being impressive is not a requirement here
Why not join a team ours or another for the challenge and move some metres

Hi Rod - there is not an all Aussie team competing in the challenges. I have been around here for about a dozen years and member of the Forum Flyers and we have a number of Aussies that are members and contribute to CTC and C2 challenges. You would be very welcome to join us - members from all over the world - Nth America and Europe/UK and all levels of performance from beginners to very experience and strong. Mostly use the thread on this sub forum there is a members information link as well.

Thanks for the response Lindsay - I'll look the team up on the teams page and throw my hat into the ring. Not sure if ill hit any great milestones for the challenges but I'll give it a crack!, Cheers, Rod

Thanks Rod that is great
very non judgemental - we have recruited a good number of new members courtesy of the covid erg explosion and some totally new so its all about the participation both the C2 and CTC are useful for incentives and training
