HM today, trying to keep the mileage up, and also trying to get comfortable with the Model D.
Some thoughts about Model D:
- I find it feels "harder", it has taken me a whole lot of time to get an acceptable split
- It is less noisy
- I got a more "direct" or sensitive feeling. I don't know if it's because of the new handle or because of the stone floor in my home, but I really feel the vibrations of the erg in my wrists and ellbows!
- It takes me more to get used to the new handle than I thought: strange feeling in the wrists, elbows and shoulders, and I have 3 new blisters in my hands (1st ever erging!)
- PM3 is great! Already created the profiles for my 3 kids.
- And waiting for rowpro!

13.8K yesterday, 15K today. Just received my Model D last week and have gotten some new blisters due to the new handle configuration. Will probably go easy the next few days to toughen up the hands.
Kim
