My turn today on a 5k - like most mine it was on a whim - I'd said to my mum over easter that I was as fit or fitter than when I did the marathon, I just needed to translate the mental side to push on.
I find the 5k tough - enough power that I feel it in my legs, and hard enough on the lungs that I struggle there too.
did a 10.7k hike on Sunday with ~500m of vertical up and then down, and then had 2 days rest so while I was a little tired from poor sleep, I was physically fresh.
Took a couple of mins to get up afterwards, so pleased with how this came out - no dips or blips that the summary table can sometimes hide log; probably had a few extra watts or so in the tank based on the final split and pace at the finish
