That's bad to hear, hope you're OK!

Respect for starting a second try and finishing with a respectable time (and PB, even if it was not the pace you wished)! :)
I hadn't had any occurrences in the last few weeks but I guess this was a bridge too far. Very frustrating as I may need to slow right up again until I can see a cardiologist. Health more important I know but I am quite competitive with myself so find any restriction on my efforts really frustrating. :x

Ooook, I have my new 2k PB ready! I am going to let you guess before I tell. Some background info:

-Previous PB was 6:29 from 2013. I was not erging actively back then, just used it for cardio now and then
- My most recent PB is from mid January 2020, 6:31.7 in the NIRC.
-During todays session, I actually HD'ed for one stroke(was about to put handle in storage, before realizing it would be foolish to stop with approximately 600 meters left).
-I am not completely satisfied with my new PB.

What is my new PB? :)

1:34.5
1:34.2
1:33.5
1:33.8
6:16.0 total :) my target for the last few week has been getting to sub 6:15, that is why I have failed 2 or 3 times.

Guess I would have been at least closer to 6:15 if I did not stop and handle down, that probably cost me about 1 sec.

6k Time Trial

21:52.9

1:49.4 average pace

32 average spm

New British Record in the 60-69 Lwt category (the ''Little old men'')...and an ''all time'' PB for me so happy with that.
Pretty darn good. Don't see any other LWts 60-64 below 22:00. I think this is better than your 5K this season. Just think about how good 21:24 is.

Think I have pretty much done the round of updating all my PB's now, I assume there will be more of a struggle to get new PB's from now on :) except the 6k, that one should be quite easy, as the split of that PB is slower than my 30 min PB :)

Congrats, big jump, but in line with your recent stuff. Build your motor, think you have good bit extra in you.

'Dissapointing' PB in the Spring Series 6km for team #RockTheBoat. This was my second attempt after an HD 10mins before when my ❤️ rate jumped from 165 to 220... again 🤬😢. I stopped as I felt naff but was more gutted that I couldn't get it done.

I know....4th or 5th time I've had this blip and so far it passes in a minute or two. I'm seeking a BUPA referral from my GP at the moment to see a cardiologist. I've tried to think if this might be due to me dropping around 10kgs and now being LWT but I definitely had this the first time as a HWT when I first did 500m intervals. I wrote that one off as a technology blip but don't believe it can be now as I really feel my heart racing in my chest.
