Post by alyomar13 » November 17th, 2011, 11:03 pm

I'm only in my sophomore year and i row for Highland Park Crew.
I live in Dallas.
I'm 15 and weigh 152 lbs and 5'11

My best 2k time is 7:03 and freshman year it was 7:16
My best 6k average split is 1:54.1 (Sorry, dont know the time)
My best 500m piece is 1:29.1

I'm trying to maintain a 3.0 GPA, but am struggling.

What college best suits me and what do I need by senior year to row for a good team?

The college that suits you best would be the one that has an area of study in which you are interested. Do you know what you want to study....besides "rowing"? :) The rowing aspect should be secondary to your actual educational pursuits.

Have you sent an email to let the OCU coach know that you are interested in attending the school when you are older?
