8 LWT TTs completed

Post by Bob S. » February 9th, 2015, 5:47 pm

I finished off the 10k today and that completes all the 1 hour and less pieces for the LWT category. I don't intend to do the HM andFM, so I am essentially done with the LWT category pieces. The result was 48:18.5 (2:24.9). I probably should repeat the 6k which was at a much slower pace than my 30'- 2:24.7 vs 2:22.8, but I see no urgent need to bother. Time for Skinny Bob to retire and Fat Bob to take over the chores of gap filling. I had a huge, unhealthy breakfast this morning after the row to celebrate.

I closed out my old nonathlon ID and started a new one with all the new scores entered and was shocked to see that my total score went down. I have emailed Paul asking what happened. The only thing that I can figure out is that I listed myself as HWT for the first ID, since some of the early scores are done when I was over the weight limit. For the new ID, all the scores were done when my weight was well under the limit (160.8, this morning as an example). Could it be that the nonathlon LWT standards are higher than the HWT standards?????

Paul is going to have a trouble with the Nonathlon stats with a sample size of one (n=1).

But I am not in the 90+ group for nonathlon, because it uses the age at the start of the season, May 1st, well beforeI turned 90. I will attach the screen shots of the 2 records so you can see exactly what I mean. Note the short pieces in particular.
